The software installation is carried out via guided setup in the usual manner.A program group and start icon are created automatically.

Setup also registers the OLE attributes of HTS automatically in the windows registry database.

HTS is started during the loading of Windows.HTS serves as a DDE server(dynamic Data Exchange) and as a OLE server (object linking and embedding) simultaneously.Several applications can access one counter at the same time.Easy implementation e.g in MS Excel (with Excel Basic) or in Visual Basic.
