Circular
/ linear motion is sensed by Inductive Proximity Sensor. When
flag is passed through the sensing face of proximity sensor,
pulses are produced. These pulses are fed to the Zero Speed
Monitor. These pulses are then compared with reference comparator.
Whenever speed drops below the set value, digital comparator
detects the same and output relay is switched on.

| On
powering the Zero Speed Monitor; output relay instanteneously
gets on. If the system speed reaches the set value within the
initial by-pass delay period, the relay remains ON. Thus it
keeps the contactor in ON condition to keep the system motor
ON. Now, after initial by-pass delay period, at any time the
system speed drops below the set value; the output relay gets
OFF & in turn switches OFF the contactor. |
